If you are seeking to build confidence and proficiency with a pistol from holster, Introduction to Defensive Pistol is a foundational course tailored for you. Designed for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills, Introduction to Defensive Pistol provides hands-on training in the essential functions of a pistol and how to safely draw, fire and return to holster. You will understand what it takes to master sight alignment and sight picture, learn the nuances of trigger control, practice safe techniques for loading and unloading your pistol and drawing from and returning to holster. The program also introduces critical defensive skills such as malfunction clearing, reloads, and standard shooting responses, all framed within the principles of the color code of awareness.
If your goal is to instill a strong sense of safety, responsibility, and preparedness, then this is the course for you. Classes have a 5 student minimum. If less than 5 students register by the week prior then that class will be rescheduled and you will be credited towards a future class date of your choice.
